The last 3.4 beta release had a restriction that it would only run on
Digital UNIX 3.2a and 3.2b, but afsd would not run on 3.2c. Has this
restriction been lifted in the 3.4 release - can we run AFS 3.4 and
Digital UNIX 3.2c? The release notes no longer mention this topic.

Here is the section from Announcement.5:
In recent months, several new minor operating system releases have
taken place. The alpha_osf32 system type has been certified on both
Digital Unix (OSF/1) V3.2 and V3.2A. Early reports indicate that AFS
works okay on V3.2B but the "afsd" fails to start on V3.2C. More
investigation is necessary for V3.2B and V3.2C.
