Hi, All

We had problems with creating big ( more than 1GB ) files under AFS.

We tested AFS 3.4 for it.

There are our findings :

1. When we upgraded a fileserver machine to AFS 3.4 ( but
it continued to run as AFS 3.3 client ), we could not
create a file bigger than 1GB ( the error message was :
afs failed to store the file ).

2. When we loaded also the new kernel extension to that machine
( i.e. it run as also AFS 3.4 client ), only then
we succeed to create a 1.5GB file.

So, it is not enough just to upgrade fileserver process but also
you have to upgrade Cache Manager of the machine ( which means "reboot")

Any ideas ?
