Well, we tried. We do use AFS authenication with UniTree. But NCSA was going
to try to use the MR-AFS (mulit-resident AFS) project at PSC (Pittsburg
Supercomputer Center), and use UniTree has one of the levels that "residents"
could be on.
Once that project didn't continue, we also didn't pursue that option either.
I would love to see that project arise from the ashes, I know that 2 of the
PSC folks now work for Transarc that initially got the MR-AFS project off
the ground and working on PSC's Cray system.
