1) how do i tell what version of afs a machine is running?

i tried sum'ing my installed afsd and several of the afsd's in our local
distribution with no luck; i got bored before i tried them all.

2) what the heck could cause this problem:

  stimpy% fs getcacheparms
AFS using 62885 of the cache's available 55000 1K byte blocks.
[Cache guideline temporarily deliberately exceeded; it will be adjusted
down but you may wish to increase the cache size.]

my cache partition is definitely full, and i occasionally get the
standard "cache partiion full" message when i try to use afs.

The machine had a cacheinfo file set to 55000 when i got to it,
but someone else had been working on the machine and the file
modification date was while he was working on it; he doesn't
think he modified it, but just wrote the file out when quitting
vi.

I manually set the cachesize with fs setcachesize and
it changed the "available" number, but didn't help things.

the machine is a sparc 10 running 4.1.4. It was recently
upgraded to a ross hypersparc 150Mhz processor.

It would be inconvenient to reboot this machine to fix this
problem, anything else i can do?
