In my experience, renaming existing systems can be problematic at best.
If I were in your shoes, I would set up a brand new cell and migrate
data to it from the old cell.
This also gives you an opportunity to re-plan the new cell configuration
in the light of your experience and clear out accumulated junk.
This is not a trivial undertaking, so make sure the new domain and cell
names will be as permanent as Life permits.
