Amy,
we here at SIEP experienced the same problem with AFS 3.4 on SGI's (High)
Impact machines with AFS loaded using ML. It has been logged with Transarc
under TR-19383. No response since the date I logged it (Jan. 15, 1996). The
solution for us is to run AFS 3.4(a) with AFS builtin into the kernel.
