Most AIX 3.2.5 executables should work on AIX 4.1, so maintaining a
completely separate tree would cost lots of disk space and cause you
and administrative nightmare. We have one aix tree with rs_aix31,
rs_aix32, and rs_aix41 being symbolic links to aix. In the very few
cases were we have different executables for 3.2 and 4.1, we make
executable a symbolic link to executable.@sys and store the different
versions as executable.rs_aix32 and executable.rs_aix41.
