Hi:
I'm Marco Antonio Torrano Garcia from Banco Mexicano, and i need some help
about my problem.
We (my Job Staff) have a AFS File Server (srvafs6) with the mision of software
distribution, every fifteen minutes about 300 client servers access it, only for read
a flag that indicate that they have to consult a table with name servers and times for
program an AT where they can execute PACKAGE.
A lot of time the flag is off, but with a long period of time, the file server down
(the scout can't obtain data from it and the fs checkservers say that this server is
down).

We have to do the following steps:

# bos shutdown srvafs6 fs

and see that the fs process is running.

We have to kill that process with kill -14 (id process)

and then

# bos start srvafs6 fs

and the AFS file server turn to be O.K., but we have to do this almost every 3 days.

I hope somebody can help us.

Thank you.
