Hi,

we have an AFS client machine which should do backups of our AFS cell. This
machine (sun4m_54) is installed as a dataless client and therefore mounts /usr
from our server machine. Therefore we are not able to allow the client machine
to change any files residing in /usr/afs/backup (like the backup logs). In
addition, if we would have more than one tape coordinator machine, they would
all share the same /usr/afs/backup directory and therefore have the same
tapeconfig file.

Is there any way to say the backup command *not* to use /usr/afs/backup but
any other location (maybe through the use of an environment variable or flag)?

Thanks in advance,
     Till
