Yes, we've been running into the same problem for a few weeks on 
rs_aix41. Crashes around once every 2 days on a DB server, all more or 
less in the 'rx' code. As yours, this is an RS6000 C10.

However, after looking at a dozen or so dumps Transarc said that what 
happened could not happen and recommended to run memory diagnostics. I 
wasn't very confident at first, but indeed running the advanced 
diagnostics in 'loop' mode show that there's something wrong with the 
machine itself - in around 10% of the loops the diagnostics blame the 
FDDI card, the sysplanar and the extender card (or similar) in turn.

I'd be interested to hear how your case resolves.
