Hi - I am trying to use a TAC3 machine as an AFS 3.4 database only server. The TAC3 is the Navy version of the HP. I've been unsuccessful so far - most everything just core dumps, leading me to believe that perhaps this computer is not supported. Here is the output from uname: > HP-UX foobar A.09.05 C 9000/750 2015055505 32-user license So it looks like an HP 9000/750 running HPUX 9.05. I think that the HP 9000/700 is supported for this OS, but don't know what the differences are between the 700 and the 750 (don't know much at all about HP's). Has anyone gotten this configuration to work, or does it look like it should not work? Oh yes - I am using the release of hp700_ux90 that was in the patches tree the middle of last week (the most current release - at least as of last week). thanks -dave
