It's already been done. GNU findutils4.1 (prep.ai.mit.edu or
a mirror) can be compiled with AFS support. (Last time I compiled it,
you needed to add something like "-lc /usr/ucblib/libucb.a" for
Solaris and "-lc /usr/lib/libBSD.a" for HPUX because Transarc
needlessly uses BSD calls not present in libc, but it works fine.)
