Aha, my bad. I would like to know RAM and disk configurations of some of
the clients and what you use for servers.
We have a lab of R3000 Indigoes (with 24 megs of ram and 424 meg hard
disks), and about 100 other R4000, R4400 and bigger machines that we
aren't really worried about as they have plenty of horsepower and ram.
For servers we have 3-4 Challenge S's.
Our main concern is the R3000 lab (about 50 machines) and how they will
fare under AFS.
Also, what do most people use for mail delivery? We currently use hlfsd
and procmail to deliver mail into $HOME/.mailspool/username. What sort
of solutions do people use elsewhere? This is a university environment
so we have to enforce quotas et al.
