Hello
No, I have not noticed slowdowns, I've noticed weird behaviors in the
cache files. For example, sometimes a file is there, then it
disappears, then after running fs flush(v) the file comes back.
Now, if the device isn't available (for whatever reason), the only
thing I've been able to do is "newfs" the cache partition, and start
over.
At this point, I'm not convinced it's an AFS problem, but rather
a Solaris 2.5.
I've noticed different problems on non-afs local partitions which
leads me to this. (If I update a file, sometimes it will be there,
other times the link is wrong....sort of like an over-lapping
partition.)
