The solution was to force the release of the volume. Still uncertain
what caused the problem to start with though.

Does anyone know of any software whatsoever, aside from AFS
that have a support staff this big, with a response time this short.
I think it's amazing. Just think of the vast sum of knowledge, and
experience boiling out there! AFS is the greatest!
(Sorry, I'm getting a bit fanatic here.. Sorry :-)
