rxdebug <client> 7001 -version

works for at least anything under AFS 3.4. The command crashes a Solaris 2.3
AFS 3.3a node, though.

About the same:
        rxdebug <server> 7000 -version

However, this does not works for the whole zoo: 7005 works in AFS 3.4a,
7002 not.
