First Is there any way to shut AFS login up so that it doesn't complain about being unable to authenticate to AFS becuse user doesn't exist ? We have lots of NFS users here that feel that they exist anyway and thus get harmful feelings about that new "AFS" thing. Second Also I'd like to shut off the "AFS 3.4 Login" message since we have a automounter bug which gives AFS a bad reputation - not deserved - but the AFS message comes up just before the user bangs into the automounter bug that logs him in with root as home directory. Third Has anyone noted that AFS login on Solaris 2.5.1 doesn't update wtmp correctly when rlogging into it. Running "who" doesn't tell you where you came from. However, using telnet works OK. Chris.
