have to wait until transarc releases the long-awaited sun4x_55 patch-release
which will fix the afs/nfs translator panics.  It's broke, it's always been 
broke (on 2.5), Transarc knows it, and   I wish they would fix it soon. 
I've got about 10 machines running Solaris-2.5 which  desperately  need the 
afs/nfs translator....!
