Has anyone else seen this? I have a file server/database server running
HP-UX 10.20 and AFS 3.4a (Currently using the January 1998 release).
When there is nothing happening on this system except the AFS server
processes, the load average frequently shows 10 or 15 or higher,
while top shows the system is 98% idle. We have seen similar
symptoms in the past on HP-UX 9.03 AFS file servers.
It is very difficult to tell whether this is an HP-UX problem, or
one related to AFS, and HP are not very helpful when we tell
them AFS is running on this machine.
