Howdy,
I have been using the AFS client for Solaris 2.5.1 X86 (afs34a.5.00) on
several machines for awhile now; along with the PAM module from Chas. I
recently tried to install it under Solaris 2.6 X86, and the loadable
kernel module doesn't seem to load. It gives:
% /usr/sbin/modload /kernel/fs/afs
can't load module: No such file or directory
%
This despite the fact that that /kernel/fs/afs does exist, has the right
permissions, and is a copy of libafs.nonfs.o from the distribution.
So has anyone gotten the old client to work under Solaris 2.6, or does
anyone know of a newer client that is (or will be) available for X86? Or
other clues?
