Since we are also in a need for large volumes, I'd like to understand
what exactly I can and cannot do with volumes > 2GB. As far as I can
see, I can at least HAVE them. Now, what's wrong with backup, move, and
replicate (which I didn't try so far) ? Is there a limitation that
prevents cloning of a volume > 2GB ? Is there a limitation that
prevents dumping of a volume > 2GB (just 'vos dump', not necessarily
using the built-in AFS backup system) ? Is there a limitation that
prevents salvaging of a volume > 2GB ? And finally, are there any
restrictions on partitions > 2GB (assuming the individual volumes are <
2 GB) ? Can I salvage such a partition? All this on rs_aix42, if that
matters.
