We are currently looking for are enterprise wide backup system. I need
the backup facility for AFS data (of course), different unix systems and
WinNT.
I am looking a little bit deeper in the Legato Networker and in the IBM
ADSM product.
Legato Networker doesn't have a interface to AFS. I know something about
the BoxHill vosasm software, but I can't find where I can get the
software and how expensive it is.
Does anybody has experiments with Networker and AFS?
ADSM needs the buta software. This software is only available for AIX. I
have only DEC and SGI machines available.
Does anybody has experiments with ADSM and AFS? Does anybody knows about
ports of buta to other Unix plattforms?
Does anybody know any other backup software which can backup AFS data,
Unix and WinNT machines?
Any feedback on this would be much appreciated-
