We have an AIX 3.2 AFS client which rejects AFS users login with
the following error messages;

login: jay
Enter AFS password for jay:
User jay kerberos-authenticated via AFS 3.4.
3004-010 Failed setting terminal ownership and mode.
Connection closed by foreign host.

        My /etc/passwd entry is like this;

jay:!:1309:203:Kim Jaeyoung:/afs/postech/home/cse/d98/jay:/bin/csh

        All the local users (non-AFS users) can login without any problem.
I think "terminal ownership" is a key to solve this problem, however, I
don't see any clue from it.

        Is there anybody out there exprienced this kind of problems and
had a good solution for it? Any comments will be welcomed. Thanks.
