Thought a number of you would be interested in these numbers. Since we disabled posting to INFO-AFS by non-subscribers, nine spam postings were dropped by filtering on INFO-AFS. All were tagged as non-member submissions (and therefore bounced); seven of them would have bounced because of the existing content filter rules anyway. Also during that period, there ten legitimate posts to INFO-AFS, four of which were by non-subscribers (and had to be resubmitted manually). We're still deciding whether or not this arrangement is the right thing or not. Stay tuned.... --Pat.
