In addition to Ken' NRL work, there is also:

There you will find mods to use a DCE security server as the KDC, with
the ability to use K5 forwarded tickets to get DCE context and/or AFS tokens. 
This allows rlogind, telnetd, ftpd and sshd to get access to AFS and DFS 
automaticly, while not sending your password over the network. It can 
also work with SSL and Smartcards too.
