After a bit of debugging, I found out that the function call of
"ubik_ClientInit()" from AFS's libubik.a causes the core dump.
My guess is, that the parameters to this function have changed from
afs3.4 5.00 to 5.xx, but I can't verify this because I don't have the
AFS source code or any documentation about the libraries.
