I'm getting ready to lifecycle the database servers in UNC's production AFS cell and am trying to decide what to replace them with. The current machines are IBM Model 410 workstations and have been fine for the past 3+ years. Our cell has about 50000 principals. What kinds of machines are cells of our size using? I prefer Sun or IBM boxes.
