Hello,
For those of you who don't read http://www.slashdot.org
you might like to know about a discussion about
distributed filesystems on Linux at:
http://slashdot.org/askslashdot/99/09/18/2237232.shtml
AFS, Arla, CODA, and DFS get a mention.
It seems that AFS is percieved as too expensive.
I often wonder why AFS client code is not freely distributed
(like the Netscape model)?
