To all who responded to my help on nt afs.
First thanks for the help.
We got AFS to install on the one nt box that does not use dhcp for its ip
address. The final fix was a problem on our part. The release notes says that
the installer must be in the local admin group. So thats what we did. The
install does not work that way. You really must be the logged on as the local
admin for the install to work.
We still have a problme with a nt box that gets its ip address from the dhcp
service. If the computer name is suppose to be in dns it will never match the
dhcp ip name. Does anyone have experience with dhcp and afs. These would be
laptops we use to roam around the site.
