Get Solid Footing in Technology

CBT learning offers numerous benefits:

   * Reinforces understanding with interactive exercises
   * Helps new project members get up-to-speed
   * Allows students to learn at their own pace
   * Reduces the learning curve significantly
   * Lets employees take a refresher course anytime

Now Transarc offers four CBT programs that provide a firm foundation in
DCE technology.
Through simulated environments and review exercises, students are
introduced to the following concepts:

Using DCE (DCE-C110-H1): Students learn fundamental DCE concepts and
commands, including an introduction to the OSF DCE components relevant
to users of DCE applications. The course simulates a real DCE
environment to give the equivalent of hands-on exposure to DCE.

DCE Administration (DCE-C220-H1): Students learn core commands used in
day-to-day DCE administration as well as more complex tasks such as
connecting cells, routine maintenance tasks and programming.

DCE Concepts (DCE-C210-H1): This course highlights the benefits of
distributed computing. It explains how DCE plays a vital role in the
overall architecture by providing a seamless environment where
applications may span systems transparently.

DFS Concepts (DFS-C210-H1): The course includes a thorough technology
overview of DFSTransarcs enterprise file systemincluding the
responsibilities of the various DFS machines, the structure of DFS
namespace, how data is stored and accessed, the advantages of
replicating data and how DFS might benefit a company wanting to
centralize its file sharing environment.
