Thanks for your response. sorry it's so confusing.

If I create, for you, an afs/aix account (i.e.  create protection &
authentication database entries on asset.com and create aix/unix
account with aix/unix working directory), can you klog from transarc
to asset.com and "get to" your aix/unix working directory?
