AFS server device limit

AFS V3.1 server software is limited to 26 devices (e.g. vicepa thru
vicepz).  Has this limit been removed in V3.2 of the server software ?  If
so, what is the new limit ?  If not, when may we expect this limit to be
removed ?

P.S.  This concerns connecting optical jukeboxes to AFS file-severs. 
Obviously, large jb's have dozens of platters.
