Can anyone confirm that my distribution of Crack 4.1f for AFS
works under AFS 3.2? I'd like to make sure I don't have to fold more
changes into Crack 5.0 to deal with it. We aren't running 3.2 here yet
so I can't check myself.
ObPlug: you can pick up a version of Crack (the
dictionary-attack password guesser) for use with AFS Kerberos
databases from
export.acs.cmu.edu:/pub/crack.tar.Z
Execution time is usually at least several orders of magnitude
faster than normal crack due to the structure of the kerberos
database. Example time for our site is 10 hours using a 300Kword
dictionary set attacking 13000+ users on a Sparc IPX.
