As part of the Transarc's AFS/DFS Migration Toolkit, Transarc will make
available an AFS/DFS protocol translation suite (called "ADAPT"). This
will allow AFS 3.3 client workstations to access DFS-resident files, and
will allow an administrator to move any volume from AFS to DFS while
retaining full file system connectivity when viewed from an AFS client.

It's also possible to run both AFS and DFS cache managers simultaneously
on workstations which can support this configuration. This approach may
be adequate in some cases.
