**TRAINING ANNOUNCEMENT** Transarc is pleased to announce the availability of several seats in an AFS System Administrator Training Class to be held at Xerox Corporation in Palo Alto, CA on February 9-11. The cost for the three-day class is $1,450 for educational sites and $1,650 for commercial sites. As the class is limited in size, reservations will be taken on a first come, first serve basis. The class is a full three days of lecture, and question and answer periods, generally from 8:30 until 5:00 each day. Recommended prerequisites for the course are familiarity with UNIX system administration and at least user-level knowledge of AFS. It is also helpful if you have had experience installing an AFS file server or an AFS cell.
