When you use "fs lsm ." or "fs lsm ..", you always get the following
error message:

fs: you may not use '.' or '..' as the last component

I RTFM and all it says is that "the fs command interpreter does not
understand [. or ..] in this case."

Why? Seems a little unnatural to have to use "fs lsm ../mydir" or
"fs lsm $PWD" all the time, especially when you can "fs la ." and
"fs sa ." I'd like to think there is some compelling reason for
making this a special case.

Puzzled,

John
