Hi,
I have two questions to ask:
1) Is there any reasonable way figure out whether
a specific machine is running AFS or not?
By that, i mean other than checking "/afs" existance or "afsd"
daemons in the Kernel Process Table.
2) I need to write an application to be run on AFS and NON-AFS
(running only NFS) machines, and all that be transparant
for the users.
Obviously, i need to use Dynamic Library Loading (for the
AFS code), as when i run an application linked with AFS
libraries on a NON-AFS machine, it gets killed.
Please give me any hints, code, references, etc ... for
solving this problem. Is there any other solution(S)?
Have you faced similar problems?
