Don't put mount point for cache in nfs. Thus, you could create local filesystems: /var/vice (small as possible) /var/vice/cache Don't forget about afsd log file. Run aix dwm stuff out of the box; both aix dwm and afs coexist fine. There is a rumored ptf for horrendous performance with some logical volume commands. Anybody have any opinions on which (memory or disk cache) would exhibit better afs performance? Assuming adequate page space, don't care about reboot times, etc. -- David Grossman [EMAIL PROTECTED]
