The next AFS Users Group meeting will be held September 30 through
October 1, 1993 in Pittsburgh, PA.

The goal of the meeting is to bring together members of the AFS user
community to share their experiences and expertise. As the installed
base of AFS sites continues to grow, new and experienced sites
are eager for both practical information on setting up and
administering AFS, and creative ideas for meeting specific site
requirements.

Presentations may include:

- Panel discussions

Most individual presentations should be approximately 30 minutes long.
Panel sessions may be longer.

Those submitting technical papers would be expected to provide copies
of slides to accompany the presentation in addition to the paper.

Suggested Themes:

- Getting started with AFS: making initial configuration decisions based on
  future growth.
- The use of AFS in commercial production environments, such as software
  development and customer support.
- Teaching and research applications of AFS.
- The administration of very large AFS sites.
- Modifying AFS tools to fit your environment (Backup, package, uss).
- Performance tuning with AFS.
