Hi,

I'm using a find command to search through my system, but I don't want it
to search through AFS. I don't have AFS installed so I'm a bit short on info
  and would appreciate some help.

  1. On installing AFS, does this type of filesystem get defined anywhere.
Other filesystems e.g. NFS are defined in fs_types.h, but there is no
definition for AFS. Does find -fstype recognise afs as a valid type?
How can I check that AFS is installed?

  2. I believe that AFS must always be mounted on /afs on every client. Is
this also true on the server? Would it be sufficient just to exclude all
paths beginning with /afs from my search. Any find -prune experts tell
     me how to do this?

(I need this to work on AIX, HP-UX, SunOS and ULTRIX).

  Thanks,

  Frank
