Thanks to Roland Schemers and Marc Horowitz for very helpful answers It seems that aklog will trust anything that uses the key in KeyFiles, so I hand edited my MIT kerberos dump to duplicate the null instance afs principal with a cell name instance. And bingo, I now see in my ticket file, from BOTH versions of aklog ccprl@xdm001% klist Ticket file: /tmp/tkt_ttyp3 Principal: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Issued Expires Principal Jul 6 10:15:48 Jul 6 18:15:48 [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jul 6 10:54:02 Jul 6 18:19:02 [EMAIL PROTECTED] ccprl@xdm001% I still want DEC to support both instances, though.
