Is your cachesize set high enough?
I saw a machine hang when the cache overfilled its bounds (it was set
to only 10 megs, which is not enough. 25 megs solved the problem.) I
think AIX uses a larger blocksize, so the cache can grow larger than
the size you alot for in cacheinfo if you have a low cache size.
At least, that's what happened in this case. (AIX 3.2.3, AFS 3.2,
X11R5)
