We are using a 10-tape stacker from Contemporary Cybernetics that is
probably similar to the Exabyte.  You need to use something like
'expect' or a script to control the butc.  The script watches for
the 'Please load tape...' message from the butc, issues the appropriate
command to load the tape in the stacker, and then passes a <cr> to
butc.  We've found that you have to put a delay in to allow the 
tape drive time to load the tape and go idle or you get errors.
