I am looking for some high-level information
on AFS.
- A general description/summary...
- What are it's advantages?
- How does it contrast with NFS?
- What UNIX platforms is it available
on?
- Is it available on any MPP or high-
performance systems? (i.e. Cray, Intel,
TMC, KSR )
- What would be involved in porting AFS
to a UNIX-based system? (high-level)
I will also subscribe to the AFS discussion group...
I just need a good starting point.
