Transarc to MIT Kerberos Migration

I have an AFS cell which is currently running the Transarc variety of
Kerberos.   I'd like to migrate to the MIT version.   Is this easy to do?

I realize that I can't expect to preserve passwords because of the 
differences in encryption techniques.

Any pratical experiences or info would be appreciated.
