I suppose this question has been covered before but I do not seem to have the answer. We have various cron jobs that run at night and on the weekends. In some cases, the job needs to run with ROOT capability in order to access certain local files and it also needs an AFS token to access certain files in AFS. Is there a "safe" way to periodically refresh the AFS token for such jobs? Suppose the power goes off during the weekend. Is there a way to automatically get a new token at the end of the boot sequence? ---------------------------------------------------------------- | Joe Ramus NERSC Livermore (510) 423-8917 [EMAIL PROTECTED] | ----------------------------------------------------------------
