Through a series of minor catastrophes (mostly my fault), the slides
for the IFS and macintosh presentation didn't get into the
program book, and I didn't have very many paper copies to hand out
in Pittsburgh. (It was only through the kind last minute assistance
of Transarc that I had a complete set of transparencies to show.)
Fortunately, we have AFS, so this is not a hard problem to solve.
I've placed copies of the whole set in
/afs/umich.edu/group/itd/ftp/sysadm/ifsadmin/afsug.fall93
There are 2 sub-directories here,
mac
which you can use directly if you already have a copy of netatalk running
as well as MacDraw II, or
postscript
if you need a more portable form of the output.
Included in the slides (towards the end) are some nifty notes
on translator trouble-shooting, and a "human readable" description
of both the original authentication protocol, and the changes to
make it work with AuthMan.
The postscript output was produced on a Macintosh using the
LaserWriter 8.0 drivers; they should hopefully work with most postscript
printers but might not; let me know if you have any trouble printing them,
or if you are unable to get at these files in AFS but want a copy.
