Amir,
I don't know any way of writing files into AFS without first writing
to an AFS client cache directory. And logging into the AFS server
won't help since the volumes are stored in an inaccessible format on
the /vicepx partitions. That is, I know of no utilities that would
allow you to write directly to the /vicepx partition.
