Folks,

Your mileage might vary on this one.  I just tried those commands on
an hp700_ux90 machine running the AFS 3.3 release and didn't see any
problems.  

If you see this problem on your machines, I'd suggest having your AFS
Site Contact report it to Transarc through the usual channels.
