It never shrinks, does it?  But our has stabilized finally around 48MB for the
austin cell.  There's a savedb/restoredb combination that will reclaim space, but
it's a total dog under 3.2.  I tried it early on when the db was around 25MB on a
cell with 3 db servers.  It took 57 hours to run to completion and resulted in a
whopping 9% space saving as the database dwindled away to a mere 23MB.  That was
the last time that I bothered trying that.  We've been running an 8 week cycle for
over a year now with very little change in the backup database size.
